Karan Donna yoga1 Summer: an Exercise in Finding the Calm in the Chaos
It has been a restorative season and as summer winds down, I am spending my time enjoying the last moments of sunshine while I gear up for an exciting and full fall calendar.

My passion for preserving culture has been renewed and amplified by my recent trip to Haiti where I saw the results of months of work come to life. As I shared in my blog, it felt like Christmas to unpack boxes upon boxes of gorgeous artisan wares. Every item embodies the endless potential of Haiti’s future and it was an amazing thing to be able to touch and feel the passion that we’ve poured into every piece. I invite you to stop by the Urban Zen store or visit our tent at the Bridgehampton Polo Challenge to experience this passion for Haiti for yourself.

The cultural momentum borne out of my Haiti trip continues with Nomad Two Worlds in Berlin, timed to support the upcoming World Peace Festival. I am so excited to join my friends Russell James, Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Jackman for the European premier of Russell’s new Nomad Two Worlds. It will be a fantastic exhibition and I am thrilled to share that you can experience the diverse richness of Nomad Two Worlds by tuning in to our live streaming on August 20th. I’ll be joining a paneled conversation with key representatives from Haiti, Native America and Indigenous Australia. The panel will delve into pressing cultural topics and we’ll open the floor to the online community during our question and answer period. So, start thinking of your questions now and join us online on August 20th!

polo blog Give Back for a Chance to Win Big at PoloSaturday afternoons at the Polo Challenge in Bridgehampton have been a lovely way to enjoy the season, and this Saturday was no exception. Even with the cooler temperature and breezy weather, the match was captivating and guests were happy to participate in the seasonal festivity. We have absolutely enjoyed connecting and collaborating with the polo attendees at our Urban Zen tent and this weekend, we were thrilled to offer an exciting raffle: a four night stay at the St. Regis Hotel in Aspen, a prize valued at $4,000!

The raffle served as an invigorating way for guests to support the Urban Zen Foundation and we were happy to add to the excitement of the event. Even more exciting still, is that we are extending the raffle through this Saturday’s polo match! If you haven’t yet joined us for this event, we encourage you to do so this Saturday. Come by our tent where you can not only experience the many dimensions of Urban Zen, but will also have the chance to win a spectacular prize.

We look forward to seeing you in Bridgehampton!
