In a four-day event filled with luminaries from the medical and nutrition community brought together UZIT students and UZ guests dedicated to improving self-care through the basics of proper nutrition. Guided by Jill Pettitjohn, Kris Carr and Dr. Alejandro Junger shared their collective wisdom on the topics of cleansing and detoxing through nutrition while famed cardiologist, Dr. Mehmet Oz discussed the preventative qualities of good eating. More than a dozen leaders in nutrition gathered to provide guidance in self-care through the use of nutrition as part of the UZIT training.
