Registered Dietitian and cancer survivor Mary Beth Augustine will share how she personally managed cancer through diet, supplements and herbal remedies. She will also shed light on the approaches she uses with clients who are living with cancer. Mary Beth will share the stage with other oncology experts and through discussion, hands-on cooking and food-centric activities you will learn practical ways to implement and manage a diet that supports the pathway you are navigating with cancer.

SPEAKER BIO
Mary Beth Augustine, R.D.,CDN is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Nutritionist specializing in natural nutrition. She uses food, herbs and spices, teas, vitamins, minerals, and essential oils as part of her nutrition care “toolbox”. Her work emphasizes the interconnected health of people, food, and land.
Ms. Augustine’s nutrition practices are located at the Continuum Center for Health & Healing in Manhattan, and The Natural Nutritionist in Brewster. Past work experiences have included Memorial Sloan-Kettering Integrative Medicine Center; cardiovascular research at the American Health Foundation; and consultant lecturer for Oxford Health Plans.
Ms. Augustine’s specialties include oncology nutrition (she’s a cancer survivor!), natural pain killers and anti-inflammatory foods, and management of gastrointestinal, autoimmune, and hormonal disorders.
Ms. Augustine is a sought-after speaker who has appeared extensively in print, radio and TV media.
