May 3 to 5, 2008 - The Urban Zen Foundation launched the “One World, Every Child,” campaign for the Spirituality For Kids Foundation during an emotional, enlightening and inspiring three-day event at the Urban Zen Center in New York. The three-day event from May 3-5, 2008 consisted of a Gala, a Fun-Day and a Forum day introducing educators, administrators and the world to the importance of spirituality in the development of our children and Spirituality For Kids helps thousands of children learn to be more compassionate and caring through spirituality. Nov. 16, 2009 - The Urban Zen Center hosted Cookie Magazine’s Kidsfest for FreeArts NYC. Top NYC artists joined in on the fun including Sculpting with Will Ryman, Collage with Donald Baechler, Cookie Decorating with Katie Brown, Graffiti Art with Andre Charles, Painting with Michael De Feo, Building Lego City with SOM and Child/Family Portraits with Nigel Barker and Patrick McMullan. August 30, 2009 - Urban Zen strongly believes in investing in our children and giving them the tools to live a healthy, empowered life. We partnered with Bent on Learning, Chocolate Sauce and Spirituality for Kids to create a fun day at the Urban Zen store in Sag Harbor.
