UZ Day at Yoga Journal Conference, “Caring for the Caregiver,” brought together over 150 guests who gathered to hear Urban Zen Integrative Therapist faculty members, Rodney Yee, Colleen Saidman Yee, Jamie Naughright, Reiki Master Pamela Miles and Young Living Essential Oils aromatherapist Tracey Griffith. In keeping with the day’s theme of caregivers caring for themselves, UZIT students provided yoga therapy, Reiki and aromatherapy on other attendees, demonstrating integrative therapy skills to assist caregivers in dealing with the physical, emotional and spiritual needs they face in caring for loved ones.  Dr. Christiane Northrup and Professor Robert Thurman were special guests who shared their expertise in caring for oneself.
